Energy from the Sun/Sources of Energy
Day 8
Objectives: Explain that the sun is the major source of energy for Earth.
Materials: Items listed in Day 1, Jeopardy review
Ask students what is the source of almost all energy on Earth. Explain that the sun is the direct source of light and thermal energy. Display all items on the table and ask students which are a source of energy. After students guess, go over each item and explain what type of source each item is. Have students play Jeopardy Review as their group members serve as their teammates.
