Day 5
Objectives: Describe how conservation activities can affect the survival of species. Define the 3 R's. Identify ways energy is wasted.
Materials: Crayons, wasting energy handout, how to conserve energy handout, home energy survey handout, conservation handout
Read students some facts from this website. Write the 3 R's on the board. Ask students to think of ways they can reduce, reuse, or recycle. Have students write down definitions and examples in their journal. Follow procedures listed for "Are you wasting energy at home?". Collect handouts.
